The Cantonese Couple (CAT) are an amateur Rocket League team. They currently compete in Rocket Sundays (RS) as a member of the Challenger Tier, and play in red and orange colours. Both Purcy and Jez have lengthy backgrounds in Rocket Sundays that stretches back to Seasons 4 and 6 respectively, but their combined roster is now participating in the league for a second time - initially making their debut in RS Season 11 as The Cold Unts (UNTS). The team's first match took place on 2nd December 2021, defeating Boats 'N' Hose 3-1 in Group A of the RS11 Master Qualifiers. They went on to finish 3rd in the group with 6pts, and were manually placed into Elite Scarlet. UNTS started the season 3-0, but stumbled in the second half of the campaign to ultimately finish 7th, missing the playoffs by six points - they most notably defeated 2nd placed Portuguese Connection 3-2 in the second week of league play. After rebranding to The Cantonese Couple, an identical roster returned to take their place in Group C of the Qualifiers, where they finished 4th with 3pts - taking two of those points off #3 overall seeds Team Lechonk. CAT were subsequently seeded into the Challenger Tier as the division's #4 seeds.
